This Privacy Policy explains how ZOCCO DANIEL ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the Snack Score mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with GDPR and CCPA.

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically:
- Account Data: Unique provider ID, email address, and name (Apple Sign-In or Email).
- Profile Information: Profile picture, date of birth (age verification), and State/Country of residence.
- User Content: Reviews, ratings, and photos uploaded by you.
- Geolocation Data: With explicit opt-in consent, GPS data to show nearby snacks. You can disable this in device settings.
- Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, and app usage statistics.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the EEA, legal bases include:
- Performance of a Contract: To provide account and app functionality.
- Consent: For geolocation and marketing communications.
- Legitimate Interests: To improve functionality and security.
- Legal Obligation: For tax, fraud prevention, or law enforcement needs.
4. Data Storage and Third-Party Processors
- Supabase (Cloud Hosting and Database): User data/content may be processed on servers outside your country, including the United States.
- Apple Inc.: Used for secure authentication and subscription management (if applicable).
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy. If you delete your account, personal data is purged from Supabase within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by CPRA. We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is strictly necessary for app functionality (GPS).
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Snack Score is not intended for children under 13 in the United States. If we learn a child under 13 submitted personal information, we will delete that information from Supabase promptly.
9. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security controls provided by Supabase (encryption at rest and in transit). No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
