Terms of Service
1. Binding Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and ZOCCO DANIEL, located at Via S. di Giacomo, 8 - 06073 Taverne di Corciano (PG), Italy ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Snack Score mobile application and landing page (collectively, the "App").
By accessing the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the App and you must discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions
The App is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age.
- USA (COPPA): The App is not directed to children under 13. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age.
- European Union: If you are under the age of 16, you represent that you have obtained parental consent in accordance with GDPR. We reserve the right to terminate accounts we believe are owned by users under the required age.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To use certain features (for example, posting reviews), you must register via Email or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Maintain the security of your password and account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Account Deletion: You may delete your account in App settings or by contacting info@snackscore.us.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
- Our Content: The App's design, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated images are owned by or licensed to ZOCCO DANIEL and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
- User Content: By posting reviews or photos, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content within the App and for promotional purposes. You represent that you own the rights to any content you post.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or discriminatory content.
- Use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes or spam.
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or reverse-engineer the App.
- Upload viruses or malicious code that may affect the database (Supabase) or user experience.
6. Health, Allergy, and Nutritional Disclaimer (Strict Liability Release)
This section is critical. Snack Score is a community review and entertainment platform. We are not nutritionists, doctors, or food safety experts.
- No Medical Advice: Content is informational only.
- Inaccuracy of Data: Nutritional details, ingredients, and allergen warnings may come from users or third parties and are not verified by us.
- User Obligation: You are solely responsible for checking physical packaging and manufacturer labels before consumption.
- Assumption of Risk: By using the App, you assume all food-consumption risks. ZOCCO DANIEL shall not be held liable for adverse reactions, allergic shocks, illness, or death resulting from products reviewed or linked within the App.
7. Third-Party Services (Supabase and Apple)
The App uses third-party services for hosting (Supabase) and authentication (Apple Inc.). Your interaction with these services is governed by their own terms. We are not liable for downtime or data breaches originating from these providers.
8. DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy
If you believe content in the App infringes copyright, notify our Copyright Agent at info@snackscore.us with all information required by the DMCA.
9. Modification and Termination
We may modify or remove App content at any time and may terminate access for violations of these Terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy.
- EU Users: Exclusive jurisdiction is the courts of Perugia, Italy.
- USA Users: To the extent permitted by law, you waive the right to jury trial and class action participation.
